This movie made my jaw drop like a bomb. A trailer that doesn't give everything away? Must be a miracle.

A trailer that i cannot be expected the next things. I cannot tell who is who, what happens and what's the story about. The curiosity is the reason why people want to watch a movie, and Bong Joon Ho just did that.

This movie should be up for best movie at the oscars never mind foreign movie. Everything about it was a breath of fresh air and I can't recommend Parasite enough. If anyone is interested they should check out the SK tv show Signal, it is amazing from start to finish. No one gon talk bout how the boy just stole his friends girl 😔✋🏻. WHO IS HERE AFTER THE OSCARS. I love this film, its fast paced, hypnotic, and gorgeous. If you say BongJoonho quick it starts to sounds french.

I was very hyped about this movie since the trailer was released. I did not know what to expect. The story is brilliant and I never once felt bored, the more I was going on with the movie, the more I was intrigued by it, and I wanted to know what would happen in the next scene. Character development is amazing: every character has his own personality, they have their own psychological profile, and you can immediately bound with them, because they look humans.
Kim, a young boy part of a poor and unprivileged family, one day receive a job offer from his friend, to work as a private English tutor for the daughter of a rich korean family. The guy, that starts to earn a lot of money, will then involves his family, in order to earn even more money and be without debts. The entire family manage will work for them. In order to obtain that, they will use illegal strategies. These strategies are so well conceived by the movie, that even me felt tricked at a certain point.
The cast did an amazing job by being so expressive, a good performance that for sure helped to win the so earned Palme D'Or to Cannes Festival. Parasite is a movie that will put you on front a of different moral dilemmas and sometimes, you don't really know which side to take.
For sure one of the best movies of the year. Make yourself a favor and watch it is really worth it.

Phenomenal! The Oscar win is justified. If you haven't seen this movie, now's the time. Congrats on the Oscars! Well deserved. Marriage Story. Genius. The classical music emphasizes the dramatic intensity of these crucial 5 minutes for the plot. A very well deserved win for Best original screenplay, Boon.

I got mad that this got best picture instead of 1917, but I figured it would be unfair to be mad about it without watching this one, so it better be better then 1917 lol. I'll update you's on the verdict once i've watched it. edit: BROOOO I just heard the old housekeeper ring the doorbell my heart rate went to 50,000 bpm. I'm loving this movie so far. edit: ive just finished watching it and I can definitely see why it won best picture. 1917 had better cinematography obviously, but for the storytelling part, this movie hands down is probably one of the best movies ever made. I wish I could rewind my life to watch it again without knowing what's gonna happen.

Okay I'm American and I must say not all of us want an American adaptation of this! I feel like all the little things these actors/actresses did to make this movie gold will be lost in translation. I wished Americans appreciated foreign films more. I think this movie was horror. But this is just another level., 🤩🤩🤩🤩.
